CAS Colours and Sketch Challenge

I saw the CAS challenge on pinterest from another demo and thought it would be fun to play along and see what I came up with.

CASsketch 173

I love using sketches as a starting point, it gets you thinking outside the box and using papers, punches and stamps that might get left at the back of the cupboard.

Here’s my take on the above sketch:

  1. Sarah – congratulations on your new blog and thank you for making CAS Colours & Sketches part of your beginning. I like the idea of using lace in the middle of the stripes and thanks for the reminder to pull out my triple punch. Liz x

  2. The punched corners, the lacy trim, and the vellum butterflies give a dainty feminine feel to your card. It’s very pretty! I’m glad you found us at CC&S, and I hope you’ll join us again soon for another challenge.
